Job Description Software Engineer III, Service Integration Location: Toronto, Canada . Candidates must be based in Toronto and will be expected to comply with the team''''s hybrid work schedule requirements. What Youll Do Responsible for being handson in building integrations, tools and patterns that are reliable, scalable and easy to maintain. Ensure the quality of engineering within your team. Contribute to architectural and code review discussions that impact our engineering ecosystem. Raise the bar of the teams you''''ll be working with. Collaborate with leads and engineers across multiple teams to solve a wide variety of business and technical problems. Ensure our systems are properly documented. Contribute to the growth and development of the Wayfair engineering scene within Toronto and beyond. We Are a Match Because You Have Bachelors Degree and 5+ years of professional experience writing code, working with APIs, or building backends. Excellent team player with a passion for collaboration. Great skills in solving complex problems with simple abstract solutions. Experience working in agile environments. Interest in being challenged in a fastpaced environment while having fun. Analytical and creative mindset, with a passion for solving business problems with technology. Ability to quickly translate business requirements into working features. Deep understanding of platform concepts and components networking fundamentals, Linux system management and troubleshooting, containerization, HTTP and webserving, endtoend systems design, etc. Expertise with anything here would be great!
