Electrical Engineer Job Listed On January 9, 2024 Time Commitment: Full-Time Location: Port Coquitlam about the Role Vitacore is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role will be instrumental in supporting the design, testing, and implementation of highperformance electronics and energy systems. You will play a key part in developing and refining electrical systems that interface with large highvoltage capacitors and support advanced printed circuit board (PCB) development. This position is ideal for an individual who is passionate about handson prototyping, building novel hardware solutions, and working in a fastpaced R&D environment. Job Requirements Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field Minimum 35 years of relevant experience in circuit design and high-voltage systems Proficient in PCB layout and design tools (Altium, KiCad, or equivalent) Strong understanding of analog and digital electronics Excellent problemsolving, handson testing, and debugging skills Familiarity with embedded systems and microcontrollers is an asset Experience working in a manufacturing, R&D, or startup environment preferred Job Responsibilities Design, simulate, and test circuits involving highvoltage capacitors and energy storage systems Develop and optimize multilayer PCB designs using industrystandard software (e.g., Altium Designer, KiCad) Collaborate with crossfunctional teams on electronics integration, prototyping, and system debugging Conduct risk assessments, thermal and safety analyses related to highvoltage systems Generate detailed documentation including schematics, layout files, BOMs, and test plans Support rapid iteration of hardware designs and prototype builds Ensure regulatory compliance and safety standards (CSA, UL, CE as applicable) how to Apply To apply for this job, please email [email protected] with your resume attached and the specific job title in the subject line. #J-18808-Ljbffr
