PROJECT MANAGER INFRASTRUCTURE NUNAVIK PARKS Location: Kuujjuaq, Quebec Salary: CA$63,716 CA$109,329 per year Costofliving differential: minimum CA$8,500 annually Food allowance: minimum CA$4,216 annually Annual leave: maximum 3 trips per person annually Vacation: 20 days annually Statutory holidays: 20 days, including 10 during the Christmas period Responsibilities Draft a master plan for physical assets management in parks, including preventive maintenance programs Implement preventive maintenance programs in collaboration with the Maintenance Technician and local Park Operations Coordinators Plan and manage the implementation of parks infrastructure projects according to Master Plans and Development Plans, ensuring compliance with deadlines, budget, rules, standards, and managing project inspections, tenders, construction, and technical followup Assist Municipal Public Works in coordinating with the Parks Section for the implementation of infrastructure projects under their responsibility Analyze and verify budget variance reports and forecast and allocate park infrastructure budget in collaboration with the Assistant Director and Park Directors Coordinate the preparation of plans and specifications by external professionals Coordinate the drafting of all the fortender documentation Coordinate the purchase of infrastructure material Follow through on all administrative aspects associated with park infrastructure: Infrastructure Agreement, service contracts, call for tenders, and procurement procedures Draft the annual infrastructure report, including the annual budget report Perform any other related duty requested by the supervisor Qualifications A university degree in Architecture or Building Engineering (technical background with work experience and relevant achievements may be considered equivalent) Project management experience is required; certifications such as Professional Project Management are a definite asset At least three (3) years of relevant progressive work experience in project coordination/management and technical assistance Excellent ability to express concepts in plain language and to actively listen to needs Ability to process and maintain several files simultaneously in a structured and organized manner Strong organizational, analytical, problemsolving, and communication skills (verbal and written) Proactive, resourceful, with initiative, autonomy, and strong teamwork skills Capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines Written and oral proficiency in at least two of the following: Inuktitut, English, French Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other specialized software (AutoCAD, MS Project, etc.) Willingness to travel in Nunavik Place of work: Kuujjuaq, Quebec Salary: Min: CA$63,716 yearly Max: CA$109,329 yearly Costofliving differential: minimum CA$8,500 annually Food allowance: minimum CA$4,216 annually Annual leave trips: maximum of 3 per person annually Vacation: 20 days annually Statutory holidays: 20 days, including 10 during the Christmas period The KRG is an equal opportunity employer.
