Job Summary As an Associate Portfolio Manager, you play a critical role in providing comprehensive investment management services to high-net-worth professionals and families. You will work closely with our senior advisors to build and maintain client relationships, develop customized financial planning and investment strategies, and deliver exceptional client service. Key Responsibilities Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients through first-class service and exceptional financial education. Investment Management: Assist in the management of client investment portfolios, including asset allocation and ongoing portfolio rebalancing with our investment management team. Risk Assessment: Develop clients'''' risk tolerance, financial goals, and risk-adjusted investment recommendations via our proprietary GPS report, a program guided by the CFA Institute''''s Investment Risk Profiling system. Collaboration: Work closely with the broader wealth management team, including senior advisors, operations and trading analysts, and support staff, to ensure a cohesive approach to client service. Financial Planning: Collaborate with clients and senior advisors to develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive financial plans, including retirement planning, estate planning, tax optimization, and wealth transfer strategies. Compliance: Ensure all activities adhere to regulatory requirements and internal compliance standards which includes the maintenance of accurate and organized client records. Qualifications A CFA or CIM financial designation is a must. Minimum of 2 years of experience in investment or wealth management. Strong ability to explain complex concepts to a non-technical audience. A desire to learn and grow. Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
