About the Role As a Technical Consultant, youll work with wood manufacturers across Canada from small custom shops to large production facilities. Your job is to make sure their software setup reflects their real-world processes and positions them for success. Your day-to-day Leading new software implementations (Cabinet Vision or Alphacam) Providing remote and on-site training sessions Analyzing client workflows and advising on best practices Building or customizing User Created Standards (UCSs), reports, and configurations Supporting clients post-implementation as they grow into power users Collaborating with the sales team during pre-sales scoping, demos, and onboarding planning Understand the technical issues of the customers and propose adapted solutions What You Bring You''''re a natural problem solver and teacher. You know how things work in a shop, and you get excited about translating those processes into technology that saves time and improves accuracy. Requirements Experience in the wood manufacturing industry (cabinetry, millwork, closets, etc.) Hands-on experience with Cabinet Vision or Alphacam, or other CAD/CAM systems Strong technical aptitude and eagerness to learn new tools Experience with CNC machinery, optimization, or production workflows Excellent communication and training skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to travel (within Canada), occasionally on short notice Bilingual (French/English) is a strong asset, especially for supporting Quebec clients Why Join Planit Canada?
