Responsibilities Serve as the primary support to senior management in delivering outsourced insurance and risk management services to clients in the financial lending sector. Support Canadian lending institutions that partner with leading North American development companies. Report directly to the General Manager. Review risks and provide detailed feedback to management, insurance brokers, financial institutions, and clients. Critically assess insurance programs and present findings and recommendations to clients. Assist clients in completing insurance applications and compiling underwriting information. Review and negotiate various contractsincluding leases, construction contracts, and other material agreementson behalf of clients. Collect and analyze data to develop a Total Cost of Risk study using spreadsheets and tools to track costs historically and present insights visually to clients. Act as the primary client contact for risk management support and strategic guidance. Advise clients on claims-related issues and provide direction on claims management. What you will need to succeed 25 years of underwriting or commercial insurance experience. Strong knowledge of the commercial insurance industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Background in disciplines requiring collaboration and structured work. Possession of or near completion of CIP, CAIB, or CRM designations is an asset.
