As an ETL Developer on our team, you''''ll leverage your previous experience in hands-on ETL development using MSSQL, SSIS, and SSRS, while establishing testing and data validation frameworks and supporting data warehousing initiatives. We work with Git, Oracle, and Confluenceplease highlight your experience with these tools, as well as any experience with Oracle BI or other reporting platforms, in your application. Due to the nature of our work, the successful candidate may need to pass security clearances and background checks. Location : This is a hybrid role, in our Victoria or Vancouver BC office. Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 annually. As an ETL Developer at Quartech, youll Perform data migration scripting, development, and testing for implementations Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts to extract and transform data from source systems Assist with planning, coordinating, and executing the migration of data from legacy systems or existing databases to new systems or platforms Monitor ETL processes, troubleshoot performance issues, and handle data exceptions Work closely with clients on data migration, transformation and scripting, and understand their data mapping and data quality Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new data sources, enhance existing ETL processes, and support business intelligence and reporting requirements Document technical specifications, ETL workflows, and data mappings to facilitate understanding, maintenance, and future enhancements Adhere to data governance policies, security standards, and regulatory compliance while handling sensitive and confidential data To be successful in this role you should bring the following Degree or diploma in computer science, engineering, database administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience At least 5 years experience in ETL development 5+ years of experience working with large Oracle databases, DB2, or similar relational database systems 57 years experience with Microsoft SSIS or a comparable toolset Extensive experience writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures Some experience with ETL testing Experience with version control tools such as Git or Azure DevOps Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills A collaborative approach to work Comfort in presenting high-level information to various stakeholders, with the ability to drill into complex details Our values: Deliver WOW Do the rightthing Have fun!
