Senior French Content Editor Digital Marketing (Contract) Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid Downtown) Seniority Level: MidSenior level Employment Type: Contract Role Overview As a Senior French Content Editor, you will review, edit, and proofread EnglishtoFrench digital content across web, mobile, and digital platforms ensuring accuracy, consistency, tone, and grammar. You will maintain a consistent FrenchCanadian voice across all digital channels while ensuring alignment with editorial standards and regulatory language requirements. Additionally, you will coordinate translation work with external agencies and vendors, manage quality control, and occasionally translate content directly when needed. The role requires excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Key Responsibilities Review, edit, and proofread EnglishtoFrench content across web, mobile, and digital platforms Ensure content aligns with FrenchCanadian linguistic standards and OQLF guidelines Coordinate translation requests with external vendors and manage timelines and quality expectations Translate content directly from English to French when required Conduct terminology research and ensure consistency across content Support Agile workflows and collaborate with crossfunctional teams Apply SEO and accessibility best practices to digital content Contribute to maintaining and improving French editorial standards MustHave Skills Native or nearnative proficiency in French (FrenchCanadian) Proven experience editing, proofreading, and reviewing EnglishtoFrench translations Strong knowledge of FrenchCanadian linguistic nuances and terminology research Handson experience with translation tools (Trados, MemoQ, Antidote) Familiarity with Termium and OQLF standards Experience coordinating translation work with external agencies or vendors Ability to manage multiple deadlines in an Agile environment Nice to Have Digital marketing or web content experience Exposure to SEO and accessibility standards Experience working with content management systems (CMS) This is an excellent opportunity for a seniorlevel French editor who takes pride in precision, consistency, and highquality digital content. #J-18808-Ljbffr
