In this role, you will work on an assigned book and liaise with our clients and producers to assess client risk exposures and insurance needs, including: Identifying coverage gaps Upselling & cross-selling Preparing marketing submissions Preparing binders Preparing proposals Coordinating with our insuring partners RRJ Insurance Group Ltd. is an equal opportunity employer committed to a diverse workplace. Qualifications Required: RIBO license, active and in good standing 7-10 years of Commercial Lines brokerage experience Experience in Commercial Surety (POA) Strong technical insurance knowledge across all classes of insurance, including specialty products and placement for mid-large multi-line accounts, ranging from niche and $50,000 to $1 million, as well as US and international risks Knowledge of specialty products (Cyber, D&O, E&O, etc.) is an asset; industry qualifications like CAIB, CIP, CRM are also assets Skills & Attributes Required: Exceptional customer service skills with strong business acumen Sales-driven approach to account management, with ability to identify coverage gaps and upsell/cross-sell Strong analytical skills Team player with a positive work ethic Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills Organized with effective time management Self-directed with ability to manage multiple large, multi-line accounts Creative in structuring product proposals and documentation Advanced skills in MS Office, EPIC, and PolicyWorks Seamless remote work capability Flexible to a hybrid work environment Adaptable in dynamic settings Experience in a hard insurance market cycle is an asset Why Join Us: Attractive compensation package and commissions Vacation, sick time, and comprehensive health benefits Hybrid work flexibility Matching Group RRSP contributions Two paid personal days annually Professional membership fee coverage (RIBO, IBAO, IIC) Professional development and educational reimbursement Free parking and modern office space #J-18808-Ljbffr
