About The Role Were looking for a DevOps Engineer who loves ownership, automation, and impact to directly power a fastgrowing product. In this role, youll design resilient, highperforming systems and raise the bar on reliability, security, and observability across the platform. Youll work at the intersection of engineering, data, testing, and security, partnering closely with teams to streamline deployments, strengthen compliance, and respond decisively to critical issues when they matter most. From building CI/CD pipelines and infrastructureascode to applying bestinclass DevOps practices, youll have the autonomy to shape how we build and operate in the cloud. If youre energized by solving complex problems, improving systems endtoend, and leaving things better than you found them, this is a role where your work will truly make a difference. What Youll Do Own and scale ZayZoons AWS infrastructure to ensure reliability, performance, and security. Design and automate infrastructure provisioning using CloudFormation, build CI/CD pipelines, and manage existing infrastructure stacks. Optimize our PostgreSQL databases for high availability and performance. Improve monitoring and observability when possible, ensuring detection and a proactive resolution of issues. Design secure, scalable cloud services in AWS that meet SOC2 and cybersecurity compliance. Evaluate and remediate Critical and High CVEs across all services promptly. Work crossfunctionally across development, data, testing, and security teams to convey concepts and improve deployment processes. Apply DevOps best practices in everything you do. You Bring 5+ years of cloud infrastructure engineering experience in AWS or GCP. 3+ years of experience with Python or an equivalent highlevel language (Go, Ruby, etc.). Knowledge of Bash and SQL. Experience with CloudFormation to provision and maintain infrastructure, or other IaC tooling such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, etc. Experience with CloudWatch, Elastic Container Service (ECS) on Fargate, CodePipeline, and native deployments. Experience building efficient CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or an equivalent. Ability to deepdive into CloudWatch, CloudTrail logging, and other logging tools such as Athena to troubleshoot.
