Director - Distribution Operations Full-time, Permanent Location: 100% On-site working between two locations: Etobicoke and Mississauga, future location Hours: No set hours for this position Salary: Up to $190K + 15% Bonus Travel: Frequent travel up to 40% across Canada Department: Supply Chain Reporting Manager: VP, Supply Chain (Note: also reports to Engineering and Facilities Manager) About Our Client Our client is seeking a fulltime Director Distribution Operations. Fun & Inclusive Culture a vibrant workplace that celebrates its people with: Company BBQs Ticket giveaways to sporting events Holiday parties and cultural celebrations Food trucks and ice cream day Lunch & Learns Education / Experience Minimum of 10 years experience in Supply Chain Management, covering the following areas: Strategy development Systems/ERP Change Leadership Strategic Demand Planning/Forecasting; Inventory Management, Logistics/Distribution Management Strategic Operations Management Professional qualifications; minimum Undergraduate degree (Supply Chain, Science or engineering preferred) Exposure to different cultures and environments Knowledge of Lubricants, FastMoving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or special chemical business Experience in supply chain fundamentals (transportation, warehouse operations and sales order management) Welldeveloped skills in leadership, problemsolving, communications, negotiations and planning Experience managing a variety of thirdparty contractors, suppliers, vendors and assets nationally Proven ability to work with a team of professionals located remotely Demonstrated experience with a working knowledge in Logistics Safety, Storage & Handling Operations, Warehouse Operations, and Network Modeling & Optimization Demonstrated capability in budgeting, planning and crossfunctional relationship building Demonstrated excellence in customer experience management #J-18808-Ljbffr
