Overview Valued Connections Healthcare is looking to recruit talented, dedicated senior leadership volunteers. Job Title: Senior Manager, Service Delivery / Director Service Delivery Volunteer Reports to: Vice President of Governance Office: Maureen Campisano, Service Delivery Branch Employment Type: 15 hours a week, volunteer. Position Summary The Senior Manager or Director of Service Delivery is a talented and skilled volunteer who supports the Vice President and CEO in the Creation, Development, and Management of our customer-facing programs. The Policy Advisor / Director provides strategic advice, program development, and operations management across key portfolios. The ideal candidate is a politically and clinically astute thinker with strong, complex social work/case management experience, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. This is a volunteer role with potential to transition to paid staff in the new year depending on funding. Key Responsibilities Program Development and Standardization Design and develop program standardization products, including policies, procedures, standards, and clinical guidelines in collaboration with the Vice President and the Chief Nursing Officer. Support the Development of the Branch Business Plan and Branch Budget as part of the development of the overall organizational budget. Stakeholder Engagement & Coordination Engage with client services, public servants, internal departments, and service providers to provide excellent customer service in collaboration with Stakeholder Relations and Community Relations, where appropriate. Build and maintain strong working relationships across the broader public sector and relevant stakeholder sectors. Program Operations Support, Lead, and Coordinate Program leaders who manage and deliver the day-to-day case management programs directly on the front line with our case managers. Problem Solving, management, and general operational leadership. Qualifications Education & Experience University degree in public policy, political science, health policy, case management, or a related field. Social Services, Healthcare or Case Management program leadership experience is required. Ideally 3+ years. Experience in a public healthcare or social services setting is highly preferred. Deep understanding of Ontarios healthcare landscape and government processes. Excellent writing and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights. Comfortable in a newer program environment, where some days there is a need to build the plane while flying it. Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence across levels and work in a highly dynamic team environment.
