Plant Manager 24hour Facility Etobicoke, ON Production Paint Stripping (PPS) is a leading provider of paint stripping and metal cleaning services for the automotive and aerospace sectors in southern Ontario for 30 years. About Us We are looking for a strategic, driven, and strong people leader to join our team as a Plant Manager for our 24hour operation facility in Etobicoke, ON. This is a contract position. Job Summary The Plant Managers main responsibilities include: Monitoring and exceeding financial goals Maximizing operational capacity Maintaining excellent quality standards and customer service Building and leading the supervisory team Driving continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations Essential Functions Oversee and direct all daily plant operations to ensure efficiency and productivity Drive MPW/PPS safety culture and compliance objectives and incident reporting according to corporate requirements Maintain strong daily communications with all team members, managers, and customers Enforce health, safety, and environmental rules and regulations to be followed at the Plantlevel Work with the Human Resources Manager in maintaining plantlevel HR functions and initiatives Additional Responsibilities This position is responsible for manpower, management of equipment, and maintaining customer relations within set geographic locations Travel among the Canadian and US PPS Plants may be required, time to time Must uphold the Companys values and lead by example Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with crossfunctional teams Performs all other duties as assigned Key Behaviours Customer Service: Proactively developing customer relationships by listening and understanding the customer (both internal and external); anticipating and providing solutions to customer needs; giving high priority to customer satisfaction Professionalism: Maintaining a highquality professional appearance and standardizing to improve performance and reputation Continuous Improvement: Refining and developing new tools and processes through creativity and innovation Drive to Win: Passionate and candid; challenges are eagerly accepted and motivated to grow Spirit of Family: Treating all people with respect by supporting and giving back to employees, customers and local communities.
