Overview Responsible for designing and maintaining the operating environment that powers the Firms z-platform computing infrastructure. This role ensures high availability, performance, and scalability to meet evolving business needs. Key Skills Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience Handson expertise in z/OS internals Strong knowledge and handson experience with catalog management Proven troubleshooting skills, especially in highpressure production outage scenarios Proficiency in USS/OMVS Experience with z/OS and ISV software installations Advanced testing capabilities (designing tests for functionality, robustness, and performance) Solid understanding of HCD and hardware configuration Programming experience in REXX Availability for weekend support and oncall rotation Familiarity with modern z/OS technologies such as zOSMF, REST APIs, Kafka, Ansible, Python (preferred) Assembler skills for usermod maintenance and dump analysis (desirable but not mandatory) Key Attributes Selfmotivated and collaborative team player Strong analytical and investigative mindset with creative problemsolving abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Seniority level MidSenior level Employment type Contract Job function Information Technology Industries IT Services and IT Consulting #J-18808-Ljbffr
