Elkford, British Columbia, Canada Engineer or Engineer in Training, Projects Glencore Elkford, a part of EVR, is a Canadian steelmaking coal producer committed to responsible resource development, environmental performance and strong community partnerships. The Project Engineer (or Engineer in Training) reports to the Senior Engineer Supervisor, Projects, and leads projects from scoping and planning through execution, supporting safe and efficient delivery at site. This role collaborates closely with colleagues across technical services, operations, and external contractors to ensure alignment and successful outcomes. Application Deadline: December 1, 2025 Benefits Two Annual Bonus Plans Comprehensive Benefits Plan Retirement Package Health Lifestyle Account In this role you will Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and schedules across the portfolio Lead and support project transitions into operations, including readiness planning, commissioning, and startup Execute mining, plant, environmental, and tailings projects in coordination with contractors and internal departments Collaborate with operational teams to ensure alignment and engagement throughout the project lifecycle Gather and analyze information to support sound decisionmaking and continuous improvement Requirements Bachelors degree in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, or related Engineering discipline (or equivalent experience and certification) Registered or eligible for registration with Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC) Minimum of three years of project experience, including design, construction, and commissioning Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Experience in project frameworks, cost control, team alignment, and contractor coordination is an asset Experience in mining or heavy industry is an asset Valid Class 5 Drivers License or equivalent The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidates relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
