Reporting to the Senior Director, Operations, the Property Manager will act as the shared Facilities Manager to be responsible for the property assets throughout TD Place, including the Urban Park, Public Realm, and Parking Services. The Property Manager will ensure proper, safe, and cost effective operation of the property on a daily basis within the Master Site Agreement (MSA), Parking Services Reciprocal Agreement (PSRA) and Urban Park Property Management Agreement (UPPMA). This full-time, permanent role has an annual salary range of $76,200 to $95,200, with 100% employer-paid benefits. The final compensation will be determined based on the successful candidate's experience and qualifications. This is a replacement position and requires an on-site work arrangement. What youll do: Act as the shared Facilities Manager on behalf of Lansdowne Stadium Limited Partnership; Develop and manage the Parking Garage, Urban Park and Public Realm budgets (approx $3M); Develop Capex budgets and execute approved Capital projects; Lead a quarterly Owners Committee (PSRA and MSA) meeting and present financial YTD results versus budget; Manage a unionized Senior Facilities Maintenance Technician to complete all scheduled and emergency work requests safely and in a timely manner; Order maintenance materials and equipment as necessary to maintain the property; Manage various third party maintenance contracts; Perform regular visual checks of the property for graffiti, damage, or unsafe conditions; Prepare and present financial, KPI, Report Matrix and Snow reports as defined in the Urban Park Agreement; Manage all property in the Urban Park including the Aberdeen Pavilion, Horticulture Building, children's playground and splash pad, skateboard park, outdoor refrigerated ice pad and Great Lawn; Attend regular City of Ottawa event planning meetings to ensure events are planned safely and within parameters of the Urban Park Agreement; Act as a liaison between the City of Ottawa and TD Place; Ensure standard operating processes are followed and logs are maintained; Ensure site resident and retail tenants satisfaction is maintained. Other duties Ice Plant inspection within TD Place and the Urban Park to ensure proper and safe operation; Ensure all operating and maintenance requirements as specified by the original equipment manufacturer of refrigeration systems are met; Other duties as assigned by Management. Whats needed: Five (5) years proven Property Management experience including three (3) years of employee management responsibilities; Class B Operators license; Knowledge of Ice arena operations including refrigeration and HVAC equipment; Knowledge of urban park operations including snow removal and landscaping experience; Self-motivated, energetic team player able to deal with a fast-paced environment; Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; Sound organizational, problem solving, coordinating, time-management, and personal interface skills; Track record demonstrating ability to manage multiple projects through effective prioritization, scheduling, and resource management; Flexibility with work schedule - nights, weekends, and holidays; Bilingualism is an asset.
