Compensation for this role is in between $38/hour to $42/hour, immediate health and dental benefits, and RRSP matching after one year. When you factor these together the total compensation is between $40.89/hour and $45.01/hour!ResponsibilitiesInstallation and troubleshooting of all electrical components in multi-family residential, commercial and institutional structuresUse hand tools, ladders, and standard construction power tools safely and appropriatelyHandle, prepare, and install electrical materials and equipmentSupport a clean, organized, and safe worksiteReading and interpreting drawings and schematicsFollow safety programs and policies, wear appropriate PPE, and attend safety training as requiredPresent a positive, can-do attitude in the workplace and with our clientsTesting and measurement with multi-meters, meggers, etc.Instruction and leadership of apprenticesMaintain punctual, reliable attendance and professional conduct on siteUnderstanding of Arc Flash and Lock-out/Tag-out proceduresMaintaining strict adherence to relevant industry and Mazzei Electric safety standardsPerform electrical service calls, troubleshooting, and emergency repairs in occupied buildingsDiagnose system faults efficiently and recommend appropriate repair solutionsCommunicate professionally with customers, building operators, and site contactsComplete service work orders, time entries, and material tracking accurately in company systemsMaintain service vehicle, tools, and inventory in a clean and organized mannerAbility to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity and qualityParticipate in on-call and after-hours service rotation as requiredAdditional duties as required.QualificationsRed-Seal Journeyperson Electrician Certificate requiredValid Class A or B FSR is an assetExtensive knowledge of CEC Commercial/residential construction experience requiredExperience in all other electrical fields is an assetBasic hand tools and cordless power toolsStrong troubleshooting and diagnostic skillsAbility to work independently in active customer environmentsStrong planning, organization, and job coordination abilitiesStrong customer service and communication skillsExperience completing service reports and digital work ordersFamiliarity with building electrical systems, controls, and maintenance practicesValid class 5 drivers license requiredClean drivers abstract is preferredWilling to work out of town, longer shifts, and/or evening shifts.Apply today by responding to this ad.
