About the Project Cross Fraser Partnership (CFP) is a general partnership between Bouygues Construction Canada Inc., Fomento de Construcciones y Contratas Canada Ltd., and Pomerleau BC Inc. selected to deliver a new, eight-lane immersed tube tunnel replacing the existing George Massey Tunnel on Highway 99. The project will include three vehicle lanes and a dedicated transit lane in each direction, plus a separated active transportation corridor for cyclists and pedestrians. Position Overview: The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for identifying, attracting, assessing, and presenting candidates for high-volume and critical roles on the CFP project. This role requires independently developing robust talent pipelines through a variety of channels (networks, LinkedIn, referrals, etc.), executing campus recruitment and job fair activities, and promoting CFPs values, workplace culture, and benefits. The Talent Acquisition Specialist collaborates closely with hiring managers and the HR team to ensure successful hiring outcomes in a dynamic construction environment. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute external sourcing strategies to build strong, diverse talent pools and successfully source and hire qualified candidates for critical and hard-to-fill roles. Draft and send recruiting emails to potential candidates, promoting CFPs workplace culture and career opportunities. Capture and maintain candidate data and information in internal trackers and recruitment tools (including Applicant Tracking Systems and LinkedIn Recruiter). Build and maintain brand awareness, industry network contacts, and strategic external partnerships to enhance recruitment efforts. Participate in campus recruitment, hiring events, and job fair activities. Provide support throughout the full-cycle recruitment process including posting, screening, interviewing, orientation, and onboarding. Support hiring managers with job postings, employment offers, and project assignment letters. Prepare, update, and analyze recruitment and HR reports, dashboards, and resource schedules. Assist in organizing and facilitating hiring events and support diversity and inclusion initiatives. Other duties as requested. Education and Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years experience in the construction, infrastructure, or engineering industry with full-cycle recruitment for hard-to-fill and high-volume roles. Proven history of successfully sourcing and hiring candidates with specific sets of skills and qualifications. Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), preferably ADP and LinkedIn Recruiter. Experience with recruitment in a Talent Acquisition environment; experience in the construction industry is an asset. Strong organizational, project management, and attention to detail skills. Ability to operate independently, build talent pipelines, and create recruitment sourcing communities. Experience with diversity and inclusion practices. Proficiency in French/Spanish is an asset.
