The Vernon Golf and Country Club has deep roots in the community and has been in operation since 1913. We are a non-profit club which means all profits go back into the club, towards capital projects, improvements, and equipment. As part of our Food & Beverage team, you''ll be the face of the experience for our members and guests. Whether it''s serving up great food, crafting drinks, or creating memorable moments at events, you''ll play a key role in bringing the energy to the club. WHAT YOU''LL BE DOING Ensures guests are attended to in a prompt, efficient and personalized manner. Prepares and serves food and beverage items. Maintains organized and clean work area. Controls inventory through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food beverage products. Stocks and inventories products. Responds to customer questions regarding the general information of products & facility. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of applicable provincial liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by the management. Communicates guest concerns or comments immediately to the Concession Supervisor Utilizes point of sale system. Accountable for cash and debit transactions. Incorporates safe work practices in job performance. Regular and reliable attendance.
