POSITION SUMMARY: Generate Packing Slips, Labels, Waybills, Courier Slips for shipments Organize and co-ordinate shipments with internal fleet and external carriers Prepare shipments for shipping; wrapping, banding skids Stage shipping for next day''s deliveries Receive goods shipped in after hours receive into Monarch, distribute samples/product and inform production of the arrival. Maintain service levels and on time delivery targets/standards Other duties as assigned SKILLS / ABILITIES: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as an individual and as a team member Working knowledge of shipping and warehouse software/systems Capable of lifting 35-45lbs. Ability to multi-task Computer and typing skills Strong oral and written communication skills; Fluent in English (read/write) Customer Service oriented Detail oriented Motivated and flexible Must hold or be eligible to attain Government security screening to secret level QUALIFICATIONS: Completion of Secondary education diploma/equivalent Minimum 3-5 years experience as a shipper / receiver in a Warehouse and Operations environment Must have experience operating Material Handling equipment (forklift, reach truck, pallet walkie) Must have experience with a variety of shipping software /systems/vendors (such as FedEX, Purolator) Familiarity with inventory control processes and warehouse management systems (WMS).
