ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Point of contact for assigned Customer(s) account. Interact regularly with existing and potential customers, determine their needs, and develop plans for deliveries. Coordinate with cross functional departments to solve and implement customer requirements. Present oral and written reports to customers and internal teams and levels of Management. Negotiate project scope with customers as needed. Plan and schedule project timelines as needed to meet project timeline/deadlines. Review, approve, and manage all purchase orders by assigned customer(s). Host/Attend Business to Business meetings via in person, Zoom/Teams Calling, and Telephone. Collaborate with the Management team for areas of improvement (Identify Cost Reduction Opportunities, Quality Concerns, Shipping/Delivery Methods, Inventory Management) Manage customer demand and forecast as needed. Know and follow the procedures established in internal procedures: QOP, WI, DL. Provide support needed by Production and Production Control. Update Organization monthly relative to Customer satisfaction (OTD/PPM/Scorecards). Maintain up to date information in ABAS relative to Customer requirements (Part Numbers, Revisions, Price & Promise dates) REQUIREMENTS: Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong project management skills including earn value management. Manufacturing / Engineering process experience and / or technical background an asset 1-3 years managing customers/clients considered an asset. Understanding of aerospace systems, aerospace products or similar technologies considered an asset. Ability to coordinate activities inter-company and with multiple departments such as Engineering, Operations, Finance, Customer Service, etc. Knowledge of contract terms and sub contract management Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to build strong relationships with people at all levels. A team player who is comfortable working with other professionals. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and to tight deadlines. Willingness to take on project ownership and accountability. Experience in shipping and waybill tracking is an asset. Good communication and problem-solving skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel Reporting, PivotTables) Familiar with AS9100 and ISO9001 working environment. Fluent in English (Reading & writing). Ability to perform mathematical calculations. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work is performed in a professional, office environment. This job requires visits in a manufacturing environment, where the employee could potentially be involved with moving mechanical parts, electrical equipment, acetone, alcohol, oil-based lubricants and cleaning solutions. Rarely exposed to moderate cold and extreme heat. Rarely exposed to noise. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The employee is required to sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and stoop or crouch. The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to thirty (30) pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds.
