JC Bradley Jewellers is seeking a highly experienced Jeweller with strong expertise in custom-made fine jewellery to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis (40 hours per week). We are looking for a skilled professional who combines technical precision with craftsmanship and exceptional quality standards. Position Overview The successful candidate will specialize in the hand manufacturing, assembly, repair, and restoration of fine jewellery pieces. This role requires a deep understanding of precious metals, diamonds, gemstones, and client interaction to produce high-quality custom and repaired jewellery. Key Responsibilities Fabricate custom-made jewellery pieces in gold, platinum, and silver using hand-manufacturing techniques Assemble, solder, resize, rebuild, and modify jewellery components Perform complex jewellery repairs and restoration of antique and estate pieces Set diamonds and coloured gemstones using prong, bezel, pav, and channel settings under microscope Operate laser welding, laser engraving, polishing, and finishing equipment Finish castings, including polishing and rhodium plating Conduct diamond and gemstone identification and basic appraisal for insurance purposes Consult with clients to determine specifications and prepare detailed production quotations Maintain strict quality control standards through the production process Order and manage inventory of metals, diamonds, gemstones, and related materials Qualifications and Experience Completion of a recognized Goldsmith trade program, college diploma, or equivalent certification Minimum of 7 years of experience in fine jewellery manufacturing, repair, and fabrication Demonstrated expertise with diamonds and coloured gemstones Strong manual dexterity and precision capabilities CAD design experience (Rhino, Countersketch) considered an asset Excellent communication and client service skills Highly detail-oriented, professional, and reliable Employment Details Permanent, full-time position 40 hours per week Competitive wage based on experience starting with $25.
