Corporate Services: Enabling Excellence at the Bank The Corporate Services department provides enterprise level support to ensure a safe, secure, and resilient environment that enables employees and operations to function effectively. Its work is organized across three business lines: (1) Security services; (2) Facilities services; and 3) Crisis Management and continuity of operations. Each business line is comprised of dedicated teams that collaborate to support the Bank''s core operations and strategic priorities. What you will do Reporting to the Managing Director and Chief Security Officer, youwill provide strategic leadership and oversight of enterprisewide programs that safeguard the Bank''s physical infrastructure, facilities, and high-value assets, while protecting employees and information, and strengthening readiness for emergencies and disruptive events. You will steward the Bank''s physical infrastructure, signaling clear leadership over facilities services and overseeing key strategic vendor relationships (e.g. BGIS) meanwhile ensuring safe, reliable, inclusive, and cost-effective workplaces across the Bank. You will lead multidisciplinary teams and complex security programs in an evolving environment, effectively communicating risks, enterprise trade-offs, and strategic options to clients and executives. By promoting innovation, strengthening cross-functional collaboration, and fostering a high-performance work environment, you will enable integrated solutions that support secure operations, resilient infrastructure and the achievement of the department''s goals in support of the Bank''s long-term mandate as Canada''s central bank. What you need to succeed Extensive Experience leading complex operational, infrastructure, security, or resilience-focused portfolios at an organizational level. Proven ability to effectively lead and manage incidents or organizational crises. Demonstrated expertise in strategic and operational planning, with a strong track record of successfully executing initiatives with three-to five-year organisational objectives. Outstandingcommunication and interpersonal capabilities, complemented by a collaborative and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving. Proven capacity to work in close partnership with executives and senior leaders, fostering a positive, inclusive and high-performing work environment. Robust financial acumen, encompassing budgeting, financial analysis, and the implementation of cost optimization strategies. Strong leadership capabilities, with a demonstrated ability to articulate a long-term vision and drive team performance and effectiveness. Excellent organizational skills, skilled at prioritizing in a dynamic environment while enhancing performance and providing coaching, development, and guidance to team members. Nice-to-have Knowledge of business continuity, operational resilience, and security standards. Skilled adapting and enhancing processes through technology, including automation and AI experience in conducting security audits, performing risk assessments and managing incident response processes Possession of facility management or security-related certifications. Your education and experience This position requires a university degree in a field relevant to infrastructure, security or operational leadership with a minimum of fifteen (15) years of relevant experience, including a minimum of seven (7) years in progressively responsible management roles. In exceptional circumstances, an equivalent combination of education and recent, relevant work experience in areas of current relevance or interest to the Bank may be considered. Salaries are based on qualifications and experience and typically range from $224,770 to $264,435 (job grade SO1) The Bank offers an incentive for successfully meeting expectations at 10 to 15% of your base salary. The Bank offers additional performance pay (10%) for those who exceed expectations.. Exceptional performers who far exceed expectations may be eligible for higher performance pay.
