Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our construction and maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems, along with experience in related trades such as carpentry, HVAC, and welding. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various commercial and residential projects. Candidates must be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working with a variety of tools and schematics to ensure high-quality work. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in commercial and residential settings Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute projects accurately Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete installations and repairs Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to support project needs Collaborate with construction teams to ensure plumbing work integrates seamlessly with carpentry, HVAC, and other trades Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and perform preventative maintenance Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents on-site Assist in assembly of plumbing components and related systems as required Maintain detailed records of work performed for project documentation Qualifications Valid Plumber License (Ontario or equivalent) Minimum 3 of commercial plumbing experience Proven experience in plumbing installation and repair Mechanical knowledge with familiarity in carpentry, HVAC systems, welding, and schematics reading Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately Experience with construction sites or industrial environments preferred Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights or in confined spaces as needed Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail Valid driver''s license for commercial driving (nice-to-have) Knowledge of safety standards related to plumbing, construction, and industrial work environments This position is ideal for individuals committed to craftsmanship and safety who want to contribute to high-quality building projects.
