We offer competitive compensation, benefits, and opportunities for professional growth Role Description We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and competent HR Professional to support our Human Resources function during a maternity leave beginning in March 2026. This role offers hands-on experience across recruitment, onboarding, training, HR systems, and employee engagement in a dynamic, seasonal organization. Job Responsibilities and Duties: International Onboarding & Employee Support Serve as the primary point of contact for Temporary Foreign Workers (TFWs). Support community integration (banking, Social Insurance, housing setup, etc.) Ensure bilingual (English/Spanish) documentation is accurate and properly maintained. Note: Legal TFW paperwork will be handled by the incumbent HR professional; training and shadowing opportunities will be available. Recruitment & Staffing Support full-cycle recruitment including recalling seasonal employees and screening new applicants Conduct interviews and complete onboarding using Rippling (HRIS) Training & Health and Safety Deliver employee onboarding presentations Facilitate pre-harvest safety training sessions Schedule, track, and document employee training requirements HR Systems & Administration Maintain accurate employee records in Rippling Provide basic HRIS support for employees and managers Respond to employee benefit inquiries (with support from an external benefits broker) Special Projects & Employee Engagement Complete digital filing and HR record organization Manage the companys internal newsletter Assist with planning and coordinating seasonal employee events (summer, post-harvest, Christmas) Qualifications Graduate of Human Resource Management Program. Experience in the Human Resources Field Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills. Proficiency with computer systems and digital tools (HRIS experience is considered an asset but is not required; will train). Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with professionalism. Spanish language skills are not required, but considered a strong asset
