AMERISPEC INSPECTION SERVICES IS INTERESTED IN HIRING ENERGY ADVISORS ACROSS CANADA! Do you have what it takes to be that person? AmeriSpec Inspection Services is looking to hire Full Time or Part Time Energy Advisors who are currently registered or previously certified as an Energy Advisor by Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) or are in the process of being certified. POSITION As a highly trained and qualified Energy Advisor, you will perform Energy Audits in accordance with NRCan standards. You will have all the necessary knowledge and resources to help clients understand all the steps related to an Energy Audit. REQUIREMENTS Proficient computer skills using HOT2000, email, and other everyday computer programs CEA (Certified Energy Advisor) designation or have passed the foundation and Energy Advisor exams Basic knowledge of residential building materials and home construction Motivated selfstarter Must have reliable transportation and a valid drivers license & insurance Strong attention to detail Professionalism and meticulous attention to detail Advanced sense of observation RESPONSIBILITIES Learn about services offered by AmeriSpec Inspection Services Availability to work weekdays Availability to work some weekday evenings and some weekends Must be able to work in various weather conditions Must be able to do physically active work (such as climb ladders, access crawl space, enter attics as well as stand for long periods of time) Flexible scheduling provided by office File modelling team available for HOT2000 data input Valid Drivers License Willing to Undergo a Background Check AmeriSpec offers the best training in the industry by combining classroom instruction, infield inspections and handson technical training in our stateoftheart facility, led by instructors with over 30 years of experience. A replica of a home, as well as a host of training aids such as a roof, water heater, plumbing, electrical panel and appliances are utilized during training. It is specifically designed for AmeriSpec business owners and inspectors and illustrates what to examine when performing a quality home inspection. Parts of the house are fully functional, such as the kitchen and indoor lighting. In addition, used water heaters, furnaces, and air conditioning units are brought into the classroom, giving inspectors the opportunity to examine these important home systems and components. This innovative facility includes a combustion safety simulator/residential pressure diagnostic tool.
