About the Role We are looking for an immigration lawyer licensed to practice in Canada to join our growing legal team. The ideal candidate has approximately 4+ years of post-call experience in Canadian immigration law and has worked hands-on with both student and work permit applications, as well as permanent residence pathways. This role will support a range of immigration matters, as well supporting the team to build our legal technology, all while operating within BorderPass case management model. You will collaborate closely with other lawyers, operations teams, and product stakeholders, contributing practical immigration expertise while maintaining high standards of quality, consistency, and regulatory compliance. What Youll Do Provide legal review, strategy, and oversight on Canadian immigration matters, including work, study and permanent residence pathways Review and validate application materials prepared through the BorderPass platform Communicate with clients to explain legal requirements, timelines, and next steps in clear, practical terms Collaborate with internal legal, operations, and product teams to improve workflows and service delivery Ensure compliance with applicable federal and provincial immigration regulations and professional obligations Contribute to the development of scalable legal processes within a technology-enabled environment What Were Looking For Licensed lawyer in good standing with a Provincial law society Approximately four years of post-call experience in Canadian immigration law Practical experience working on a range of immigration matters, including end-to-end guidance on study permits, LMIA-exempt work permits, PNPs and other PR pathways like Express Entry, LMIAs, etc. Bilingual in French and English, written and spoken is a plus Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple files in a fast-paced environment Client-focused, responsive, and comfortable explaining complex legal concepts Interest in working within a technology-driven legal services platform Why Join BorderPass?
