We are currently looking for a long-haul driver based in Grand Falls, Fredericton, or Saint John to deliver gasoline with a safe and conscientious attitude to the many service stations supplied by Grand Falls Energie Inc. What youll be doing: Perform a thorough truck inspection before departure Go to the refinery to load the truck Deliver petroleum products to our many service locations Work outdoors during loading and deliveries Handle petroleum products carefully (you will be required to use the fuel hose) On top of that, we offer great conditions: 60-hour work week, Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday (5 days on the road, 2 days at home), year-round Salary between $87,000 and $95,000 per year! (Group insurance, RRSP with employer contribution, telemedicine, sick days, personal days, etc.) Requirements: Class 1 FM drivers license Minimum of 2 years of experience Vocational diploma (DEP) in truck transportation (an asset) The ideal candidate has: Class 1 license A vocational diploma in Truck Transportation (DEP) or a minimum of 2 years of experience driving heavy vehicles Experience driving a tanker truck (an asset) An excellent driving record Safe behaviour at all times Autonomy and resourcefulness Given the high value of the loads transported by our petroleum tanker drivers, the selected candidate must not have a criminal record related to the position.
