Overview The Part Time Service Business Development Representative answers incoming calls and greets visitors in a friendly, interested, and helpful manner. Responsibilities include processing all incoming service inquiries and internet queries, as well as performing clerical and administrative duties for the Service department. Note: This is a part-time position with flexible hours . Key Responsibilities Follow up with prospective customers via email. Coordinate questions and issues with relevant departments. Provide administrative support as needed. Manage paperwork, records, and documentation. Handle inbound service calls and coordinate schedules. Maintain an owner follow-up system to encourage repeat and referral business. Stay informed about product updates, features, and accessories. Ensure customer satisfaction and guarantee quality service. Set personal goals aligned with dealership standards and develop strategies to achieve them. Provide service management reports. Attend meetings and training sessions. Follow all company policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications No experience required; automotive BDC service experience is a plus. 3-6 months of professional experience in over-the-phone customer service or sales is a plus. High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education preferred. Excellent telephone, writing, and typing skills. Strong computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office. Ability to work weekends. Engaging, inquisitive, and proactive attitude. Internet sales experience is a plus. Drive, passion, and confidence to succeed. Ability to work in a performance-driven environment. Excellent customer service skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Professional appearance and work ethic. Self-motivated and proactive. Bilingual skills are a plus.
