Job Description The Department of Paediatrics is seeking a fulltime associate paediatric cardiologist to provide effective paediatric cardiology services at both hospital sites. Remuneration is feeforservice as set by the OHIP Schedule of Benefits and Fees. Successful applicants are expected to have an academic appointment at Toronto Metropolitan School of Medicine. Accountabilities Share in the reporting and interpretation of all paediatric diagnostic cardiology including EKG, Holter monitoring and echocardiography Provide clinicbased paediatric cardiology consultations to paediatricians and family physicians in the Osler catchment area Urgent paediatric cardiology consultations will be provided to the oncall paediatricians in the NICU and the inpatient Paediatric Unit About The Program Osler offers stateoftheart paediatric diagnostic cardiac services and this is an exciting opportunity to work in the Greater Toronto Area in a large volume regional paediatric centre. Osler is a designated Regional Maternal Newborn and Paediatric Centre with an Advanced Level 2C NICU. Inpatient beds are comprised of 39 NICU beds and 26 inpatient paediatric beds. Qualifications Certificate of Registration to practice from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario Hold a Fellowship in Paediatric Cardiology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and/or American Academy of Pediatrics Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are considered an asset as we serve a highly diverse population) Additional Information Osler is a primary clinical partner for Toronto Metropolitan University School of Medicine and is an academic community partner with the University of Torontos Temerty Faculty of Medicine and McMasters Michael G.
