Overview Regent Christian Academy Society Position Title: Payroll Specialist Job Status: Full - Time Regent Christian Academy Society serves children and families across our campus schools, online school, and early learning programs. Key Responsibilities Process bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll for all employees accurately and on time. Maintain payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data. Ensure compliance with federal and provincial payroll regulations. Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee payroll inquiries. Prepare Records of Employment (ROEs). Prepare and submit payroll reports to management. Assist with year-end payroll tasks, including T4 processing and PIER reports. Maintain employee payroll records and update changes as needed. Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate employee data. Utilize payroll software (experience with Sage is a plus) for payroll processing. Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations. Administer benefits as needed. Requirements & Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in payroll processing. Proficiency in payroll software; experience with Sage is a plus. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. Strong communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Bachelors degree in Accounting or Business; Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certificate or working towards PCP is preferred.
