Digital Marketing and Programs Specialist Homebuilders Association Vancouver (HAVAN) Full-Time | Hybrid Work Environment HAVAN office in Surrey, BC. Events held at venues across Metro Vancouver. Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 plus benefits Start date: Immediate HAVAN is the voice of the homebuilding industry in Metro Vancouver, supporting more than 1,100 builders, renovators, designers, and suppliers through education, events, and advocacy. Our digital ecosystem plays an essential role in how members connect, learn, and engage, and serves as a trusted bridge between consumers and members. The Digital Marketing and Programs Specialist is a new, handson role that blends digital coordination and execution with a marketingsavvy mindset. You love learning about evolving digital tools and strategies and will be leveraging that knowledge to effectively support an active portfolio of digital content, systems and channels behind HAVANs robust programs, events, and education initiatives. Your work will span social media planning and scheduling, website updates, CRM and LMS management, metrics reporting, and program coordination. This role supports all departments, including marketing communications, government relations, education, and membership. You will be key in creating better workflow of information, which elevates HAVANs online presence and savvy as the organization continues to evolve. You are organized, adaptable, and proactive. Responsibilities Digital Platforms and Systems Support the day-to-day operation of HAVANs digital platforms, including social media, website, CRM, LMS, online registrations, and digital assets. Support the day-to-day use of HAVANs CRM system (GrowthZone) to assist with member and event administration, email communications, lists, and reporting. Support HAVANs eLearn platform, including course setup, updates, user support, and reporting. Assist with website updates, landing pages, forms, and content changes. Post and manage job board listings, digital ads, and online registrations. Explore functions and capabilities of existing CRM system. Explore relevant AI platforms that will help support the main pillars of HAVAN. Social Media and Content Support content posting and engagement across Meta, LinkedIn, X, Pinterest and YouTube. Create and prepare social media copy, basic graphics, and shortform video content. Schedule and publish content using Hootsuite, Meta tools, and native platform tools. Monitor comments, messages, and engagement, escalating issues when needed. Assist with paid boosts and campaigns within approved budgets. Setup and track monthly KPIs and monitor campaign budget across all platforms. Work with agency on record in support of social media strategies. Events, Logistics, and Digital Delivery Support event setup online, including ticket types, sponsorship deliverables, table assignments, and backend logistics. Also includes inperson assistance with program/event deliverables. Support website content related to events and education. Support the education team with online webinars and digital assets. Assist with supporting the online auction platform for HAVANs annual golf tournament, including item uploads, testing, and live monitoring. Coordinate with thirdparty vendors related to digital platforms as needed. Participate in HAVAN inperson events such as the annual golf tournament, awards program, and education sessions, which may take place in early mornings, evenings, or occasional weekends. Capture photos and video at events for immediate posting and future marketing use. Assist with postevent digital reporting, including attendance and engagement metrics. Promotion and Collaboration Work closely with the senior management team to support events promotions and digital initiatives. Support email marketing, social promotion, and crosschannel campaigns for members, industry, media, and consumers. Participate in inperson networking and promotional activities as required. Coordinate digital assets to support brand consistency across channels. Other duties as assigned. Metrics, Reporting, and Optimization Track digital performance using Google Analytics, platform analytics, and website metrics. Support regular reporting on audience growth, engagement, and campaign performance. Support SEO and AI search visibility through content structure, tagging, and basic optimization. Monthly reconciliation of social media spends. Qualifications Postsecondary education or equivalent experience in digital marketing, communications, or a related field. 23 years of experience in a digital marketing or communications role. Experience using social scheduling and website content tools such as Hootsuite and native platform tools, and WordPress. Experience creating digital content, including copy, graphics, and shortform video. Knowledgeable using Adobe Creative Suite. Experience supporting website updates using a content management system and WordPress. Experience working with CRM or membership databases; GrowthZone experience is an asset. Experience supporting webinars (Zoom), online learning platforms, or LMS systems. Experience tracking and reporting on digital performance across web, email, and social channels. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with comfort working across teams and with members, volunteers, executive leadership, sponsors and other stakeholders. Requirements Reliable access to a vehicle and ability to travel throughout Metro Vancouver for events and meetings. Valid drivers license. Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends for events. Ability to attend inperson events across Metro Vancouver.
