Senior Project Manager Site Development (Industrial Manufacturing and Processing) Greater Vancouver, BC Our client is a fast-growing leader in Green Energy field. They have partnered with Cameron Lappin of the Lock Search Group to find a dynamic Senior Project Manager to support their expansion within Canada. The Senior Project Manager will oversee all phases involved in identifying, assessing, and preparing a major site for development as part of a large-scale industrial, processing plant. This position demands strong project leadership, in-depth technical knowledge of site evaluation and readiness; as well, excellent stakeholder management capabilities. The successful candidate will manage the full site development lifecycle. From initial site selection and due diligence, through permitting and community engagement, while ensuring regulatory compliance and alignment with overall project goals. This role reports directly to the executive team. Key Responsibilities Partner with the Engineering team to fully understand project scope and requirements, developing a strategic plan to guide successful site selection and development. Direct the site identification and acquisition process, working closely with brokers and legal advisors to secure the preferred location. Lead negotiations for land agreements and pursue local incentives to enhance overall project viability. Retain and manage external consultants to evaluate technical factors such as geotechnical conditions, environmental studies, and utility capacity. Assess regional economic factors, including supply chain ecosystems, transportation infrastructure, and utility services, to support informed decisionmaking. Spearhead community outreach initiatives to build local support and encourage positive stakeholder engagement. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with municipal officials, regulatory bodies, and economic development partners. Oversee the endtoend permitting process, ensuring approvals are obtained on schedule and in compliance with all applicable regulations. Manage site development activities, including budgeting, scheduling, reporting, and risk mitigation. Maintain accurate, wellstructured, and accessible project documentation throughout all phases of development. Qualifications & Experience Bachelors degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a relevant related field. PMP or equivalent certification highly preferred, but not mandatory. 5-7 years of experience in site development, industrial projects, or largescale infrastructure projects is a must. Proven track record in managing complex, technical, multistakeholder projects. Strong knowledge of permitting processes and regulatory frameworks across Canada. Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to interpret technical reports and manage consultants effectively. Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office Suite. Based in the Greater Vancouver Region, with periodic monthly travel within Canada. Ability to work in a fastpaced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities.
