Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Manager with the ability to indirectly lead a small team of super users and to work with an external implementation partner to modernize and expand our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central platform. It will be crucial to collaborate with functional leaders that know the business intimately but are not as familiar with the world of business systems and best practices. This is a player/coach role and will require breadth of experience across business systems, and a willingness to help execute and manage our IT strategy and deployment. Role will include: System Administrative and Support Power User Expertise Process Optimization Reporting and Analytics Master Data Management Data warehouse buildout and Microsoft Fabric experience to build out the database, create reports and publish them. Data/Business Analyst competencies with SQL query building experience for custom reporting. Power BI competencies and experience publishing data to enable users to query data in various formats and views. Business process mapping and recommended improvements to streamline business processes by: Amending and updating existing functional process charts Liaise with, and manage, MSP and facilitate IT requirements internally. Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, for modified and new systems. Other duties as assigned. On premise office/production facility environment. What You Bring to the Team: Post-Secondary Education in Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration or a related discipline. Data or Business Analyst certification or relevant courses are preferred. ERP system experience is a requirement such as Microsoft D365 Business Central or NAV. Experience in process mapping, documentation and identifying improvements. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server BI Stack including SSIS, SSRS, SSAS. Experience using Power BI and developing dashboards. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams). Minimum three years of related work experience working with Operations and their Systems at various levels of the organization. PMP (PMI Institute) or related training in Project Management or demonstrated experience in project management and best practices. Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate technical and non-technical subject matter depending on the audience. Highly developed analytical skills. Work independently and in collaborative, cross-functional teams, as necessary. Problem solving and troubleshooting abilities in a fast paced and demanding environment.
