Supervision and scheduling of HVAC and Power Plant staff. Operates and maintains boilers, chillers, generators, cogeneration system, HVAC, medical gas systems and all other associated equipment in the hospital. Design/planning/supervision of contractors/staff on upgrades and repairs to building systems and equipment. Maintains water treatment program. Shutdown planning, scheduling, and commissioning of projects. Maintains effective preventive maintenance and housekeeping programs. Responds to calls for emergencies, floods, failed piping systems, and other Hospital related issues. Promotes and executes safe work practices in compliance with applicable codes and standards. Significant, recent related experience in power plant operations and maintenance. Experienced in air conditioning and refrigeration. Advanced mechanical aptitude and trouble shooting ability. Knowledge of building automation systems Team player with ability to carry out a variety of tasks. Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
