This role focuses on electrical distribution kiosk projects and is not controlled focused. Qualifications Bachelors degree in a technical discipline Minimum 5 years experience in the electrical or related industry Minimum 3 years experience with electrical distribution systems (up to 600V) Minimum 2 years experience in a quotations, applications, and/or customer-facing technical role Current Canadian Electrical Code (22.1:24) Experience and Training Legally eligible to work in Canada without employer sponsorship Key Responsibilities Prepare quotation packages based on engineering specifications and project documentation Develop detailed technical and commercial proposals with a focus on clarity, accuracy, and value Review electrical drawings and specifications to select appropriate components and solutions Generate bills of material using internal systems and supplier resources Create datasheets, drawing packages, and supporting technical documentation Define product specifications to guide internal design and production teams Work closely with sales, design, purchasing, production, and R&D teams to ensure customer and project requirements are met Participate in customer-facing engagements, including joint sales calls and technical presentations Engage with engineering firms to support product prequalification for tender opportunities Support R&D initiatives related to new product development and launch Ensure completed products comply with required specifications, standards, and approvals Technical Skills & Knowledge Strong understanding of electrical distribution equipment and components from major manufacturers (e.g., Schneider, Siemens, Eaton, ABB) Ability to assist with electrical component selection during the quotation phase Proficient in reading singleline diagrams and performing electrical takeoffs Solid working knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code (CSA C22.1) ; familiarity with CSA C22.2 considered an asset Familiarity with BC Hydro secondary service standards (ES54) is considered an asset Ability to provide technical support to sales teams, design teams, and customers Comfortable discussing technical project details with electrical engineers Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Experience with ERP systems, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools considered an asset Core Competencies Strong problemsolving skills with a practical, solutionoriented mindset Customerfocused approach with the ability to translate challenges into valueadded solutions Excellent communication skillsclear, professional, and effective both verbally and in writing Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment Selfmotivated while thriving in a collaborative team setting High standards of integrity, reliability, and professionalism We offer a competitive salary , a great work environment, and a 100% employerpaid benefits package starting immediately, including RRSP contributions, additional stat holidays, a ChristmasNew Year shutdown, flexible work options, no travel requirements, and professional development opportunities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
