As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will play a critical role in advancing our business analysis practice while driving meaningful change across Treasury applications. Primary Location: Toronto, ON Work Model: Hybrid 2-Days Onsite Employment Type: Contractor Vacancy Status: New RESPONSIBILITIES Liaise with stakeholders to understand problems and opportunities and recommend solutions aligned to organizational goals Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners and internal stakeholders Plan, elicit, analyze, document, communicate, and manage business and system requirements using structured approaches Ensure requirements map to real business needs, are validated and approved by stakeholders, and meet quality standards Participate in reviews and walkthroughs to validate requirements and ensure quality of deliverables Manage complexity across business value, technology, and interaction models Analyze complex issues and develop innovative, practical solutions based on business and technical implications Identify emerging issues, trends, and patterns in complex data sets to inform decision-making Develop and implement data collection and analysis strategies to optimize data quality and statistical efficiency Interpret, normalize, and analyze large data sets across lines of business, applying statistical techniques to generate insights and reporting Recommend approaches to streamline and integrate technological processes to improve efficiency Contribute to seed funding requests by clearly articulating project scope, benefits, and risks Support RFI/RFP processes and vendor interactions as required Prepare and deliver presentations and updates to senior leaders Maintain documentation to ensure traceability, supportability, and clarity of current-state and future-state requirements Provide specialized consulting, analytical, and technical expertise Act as the key technology contact in day-to-day stakeholder interactions Provide guidance to technology teams to support successful solution delivery Enable stakeholder adoption of change by communicating impacts and recommendations Identify opportunities to strengthen business analysis capability through mentoring and knowledge sharing Stay current with industry, technical, and business trends Exercise sound judgment to diagnose and resolve complex, non-routine issues while working independently Broader accountabilities may be assigned as needed QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 5+ years of relevant technical BSA experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field of study or equivalent combination of education and experience Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret large volumes of information with attention to detail and accuracy Extensive experience working with large, complex data sets Financial services experience is an asset Applied knowledge of analysis and problem decomposition techniques Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), particularly Feasibility, Requirements, and Analysis phases Strong writing and documentation skills In-depth verbal and written communication skills Strong collaboration, stakeholder management, and influence skills In-depth analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making capability NICE TO HAVE Experience within Corporate Treasury Experience working with enterprise balance sheet data Exposure to large-scale, data-centric transformation initiatives #J-18808-Ljbffr
