About The Role Reporting to the Manager, Infrastructure Services, this role is responsible for maintaining the stability, integrity, and performance of the organizations 247 IT infrastructure. The Intermediate Technical Analyst designs, deploys, administers, and optimizes both onpremises and cloudbased systems to support highly available, reliable business applications. The role also plays a key part in ensuring system security, availability, and operational excellence across Azure and managed data center environments. This role is a replacement. Your Responsibilities Manage enterprise directory services and server infrastructure, including accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations, following privacy, security, and compliance standards. Design, install, configure, and maintain core infrastructure services across Windows and Linux systems in Azure and on-prem VMware environments. Perform system configuration, administration, backup operations, and disaster recovery procedures. Plan and implement system upgrades, OS updates, maintenance releases, and vendor patches. Monitor and analyze system performance, producing performance metrics and reports. Recommend and implement improvements to enhance system reliability, efficiency, and performance. Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, escalating when required. Create and maintain documentation, including configurations, procedures, and training materials. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure system availability, scalability, and reliability. Follow and contribute to IT policies, procedures, and technology standards. Lead or participate in projects involving the design and review of new systems, applications, and infrastructure. Conduct research on systems, tools, protocols, and standards to support procurement and development initiatives. Perform asset management, including maintaining inventory and technical specifications. Support application development teams throughout project lifecycles. Rotating after hours oncall. Your Qualifications University degree or college diploma in computer science, or 5+ years of equivalent IT experience. Extensive handson experience with Azure (Entra ID, Conditional Access, SSO, MFA). Strong automation skills using tools such as PowerShell and Ansible. Minimum 3 years of experience administering Active Directory (users, groups, GPOs). Minimum of 3 years of experience managing servers (Windows & Linux), storage, and backup environments. Minimum of 3 years of experience in hardware and software troubleshooting across enterprise environments. Experience with server patch management; familiarity with SCCM or Endpoint Central is an asset. Experience with server monitoring, alerting, and performancetuning tools; SCCM/SCOM knowledge is an asset. Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and web/file protocols (IIS, FTP/SFTP). Ability to travel to GTA data centers as required (minimal). Microsoft Azure certification (e.g., AZ104, AZ305) considered an asset. This role requires a minimum of 3 days in office per week and is subject to change. Personal Attributes Strong analytical, conceptual, and problemsolving skills. Compensation The anticipated compensation range for this role is $75,000-90,000 annually, which represents base salary and, where applicable, variable compensation components (e.g., annual bonus, commissions, etc.). Actual compensation will be determined based on many factors such as role location, candidate experience / qualifications, market conditions, and internal equity.
