With deep expertise and continuous development, our teams operate with the precision, resilience, and missionfocus needed to deliver crucial infrastructureoften described as the **special forces** of our industry.**)**This job posting is for an existing vacancy and is a new position at **Linxon.**As the **Building Information Engineer** for **Linxon,** you will play a pivotal role in shaping how we design and deliver the next generation of power infrastructureprojects that strengthen grid reliability, enable renewable integration, and support a more sustainable energy future.In this role, you will leverage advanced Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools to transform the way our teams collaborate, coordinate, and execute complex substation and powersystem projects. Your expertise will streamline engineering workflows, enhance design accuracy, reduce rework, and optimize constructabilitydirectly improving project efficiency, safety, and quality. By integrating intelligent 3D models, automating documentation, and enabling realtime interdisciplinary coordination, you will help accelerate project delivery and elevate the digital maturity of the entire organization.Your impact will reach far beyond modeling: you will influence strategic digitalengineering initiatives, support innovative design methodologies, and contribute to a more datadriven approach across all project stages. As a key driver of **Linxons** digital evolution, you will help set new standards for how powerinfrastructure projects are conceived, planned, and builtleaving a lasting mark on our engineering excellence and the communities we power.* Collaborate with project teams to build BIM execution plans and workflows that set the foundation for smoother, faster, and more efficient project delivery.* Use advanced BIM tools (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks) to create intelligent 3D models of substations, switchgear, and transmission systemsbringing designs to life and enabling better decisionmaking across the project lifecycle.* Integrate inputs from engineers, designers, and stakeholders into a unified, accurate BIM model, ensuring every discipline is aligned and reducing the risk of costly design gaps.* Perform clash detection to proactively resolve conflicts before construction begins, directly minimizing rework, reducing delays, and improving overall project certainty.* Generate clear, precise drawings and documentation from BIM models that support permitting, design reviews, and constructionhelping teams build with confidence and accuracy.* Develop and refine BIM standards, templates, and best practices that elevate digital quality across Linxon, making every future project more efficient and consistent.* Provide guidance and training that empowers team members to adopt BIM tools and workflows, helping to grow the companys digital capabilities from within.* Stay ahead of industry advancements in BIM and assess new technologies that can streamline workflows, enhance model intelligence, and strengthen **Linxons** competitive edge.* You have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in a BIMfocused role within the construction or engineering industry.* You are proficient in leading BIM software platforms, including Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.* You bring a strong understanding of BIM concepts, methodologies, and workflows and know how to apply them effectively to realworld projects.* You communicate clearly, collaborate naturally, and thrive in multidisciplinary team environments.* You are detailoriented, focused on accuracy, and committed to producing highquality work.* You can successfully manage multiple projects at once, staying organized and prioritizing effectively in a dynamic environment.* You have experience supporting powerinfrastructure projectssuch as substations or transmission linesor are eager to apply your BIM expertise in this sector.* You hold a bachelors degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field; advanced education is a plus.The compensation range for this position is between CAD $88,000 and CAD $117,300 annually.**Rewards & Benefits at Linxon**At **Linxon**, were committed to supporting your success and wellbeing at every stage of your life and career.
