Reporting and Responsibilities Reporting to the Poultry Key Account Manager, the VSE Specialists/Technicians are responsible for: Performing/monitoring hatchery service activities in a business unit, and giving support to hatchery/field employees, to ensure services are performed correctly and customer needs met. Servicing Ceva equipment in customer locations, focusing on hatchery/egg injection equipment. If needed, coordinate installation/promoting new equipment. Organizing Ceva activities (i.e., service implementation, performance monitoring and postcommissioning activities etc.) and VSE scope including Ecat iD customer valuations, installation and routine services with the Expert Campus teams. Responsibilities Ensure valueadded monitoring of Ceva products by conducting audits in the hatchery (via the C.H.I.C.K. Program application) and analysing the results using appropriate digital tools. Share collected information with the customer and store it internally within Ceva for later projects. Perform product audits for customers. Validate the proper functioning of standard and/or specialised Ecat iD equipment. Troubleshoot, repair equipment malfunctions. Perform and track scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment. Maintain positive professional relationships with customers via regular visits, events and/or calls. Maintain strong professional relationships with Desvac. Collaborate with all the local teams to ensure the successful execution of the business plan. Highlight critical information observed during customer visits. Participate in bimonthly meetings with corporate to review the current European situation and update all customer business plans regularly during monthly meetings with the VSE teams and local team managers. Communicate with the customer on a weekly/monthly basis to monitor results and conduct more detailed business review meetings on a yearly basis. Create automatic reports, uploaded to Cforce for each audit, via the Services Application. Manage the stock of spare parts and Desvac equipment in customers and Cevas local warehouses. Attend corporateled training and attend congresses, seminars and events related to his/her professional areas of expertise. Engage in selftraining for new technical updates to maintain high levels of uptodate expertise. Collaborate on the creation of technical articles. Deliver issue diagnoses and expert support on demand. Conduct customer visits and provide professional consultation (advice and problem solving) on vaccination (C.H.I.C.K. Program) and hatchery processes, Desvac and/or Ecat iD equipment. Provide technical and scientific advice to customers. Develop training on technical activities, with the aim of sharing required/requested knowledge and expertise with customers. Train local teams in offering effective guidance and advice to customers. May manage a junior position. Bilingual in French and English: expert level in French; intermediate level in English. Customeroriented and takes pride in providing valueadded service. Good mechanical understanding and capable of troubleshooting and fixing mechanical equipment breakdowns. Organised and can prepare and execute preventative maintenance plans.
