Compensation Range - $150,000 - $165,000 This post serves a current vacancy The Director, Sales (Retail USA) plays a key role in bringing high-quality food products to consumers across North America. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice-President of Sales, this position is responsible for managing and expanding established relationships within the U.S. Retail Grocery channel. The role will focus on leading strategic growth with major national retail partners while also identifying and developing new omni-channel opportunities within the U.S. market. The successful candidate will leverage existing industry relationships and experience to drive brand growth, expand distribution, and execute strategic sales initiatives. Key attributes include: A highly motivated professional who leads by example Strong experience and current relationships within the U.S. retail market (Kroger & Walmart are musts) A demonstrated ability to build and maintain collaborative partnerships A proven history of achieving sales targets while protecting margin objectives Experience working closely with internal stakeholders to meet customer needs A strong understanding of retail sales strategy and execution, particularly within prepared foods, deli, or HMR channels Key Responsibilities Lead and grow retail distribution with major U.S. grocery and mass-market retailers Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive sales growth, distribution, velocity, and profitability Manage and optimize broker and third-party sales partners to ensure strong in-market execution Utilize data analytics and retailer platforms to improve category performance and customer results Identify and secure new retail opportunities to expand distribution and market presence Support product innovation initiatives and new product launches Manage sales planning, forecasting, and promotional strategies Drive revenue and margin growth through effective pricing, promotions, and product mix management Analyze POS, shopper, and promotional data to support fact-based selling and category growth Ensure effective trade spend management and promotional optimization Provide executive leadership with regular updates on forecasts, priorities, and market trends Maintain a strong focus on: Achieving internal sales and margin objectives Qualifications & Requirements Bachelors degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field 7+ years of progressive sales experience within the Food or Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and customer portal platforms Experience using CRM tools, POS data systems (e.g., Nielsen/IRI or similar), and sales planning platforms Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment Valid Drivers License and Passport Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Plant Manager to oversee all daily operations of our client''''s food manufacturing facility in the Lower Mainland. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production, ensuring workplace safety, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Oversee plant operations including production, maintenance and safety. Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize productivity and efficiency. Monitor daily production metrics and take corrective actions when necessary. Lead and mentor plant staff, including department supervisors and team leads. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations. Manage the plant budget, including cost control and capital improvement projects. Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on plant performance. Qualifications Bachelor''''s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial Management, or related field 5+ years of progressive experience in plant or manufacturing operations, including 3+ years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and safety regulations for food. Proven experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
