Job Description As the Director of Content Marketing, you will lead, own, execute and measure our content and thought leadership strategy. This role will be instrumental in developing messaging, content assets and touch points to drive increased engagement, business growth and retention/cross-sell, aligned with the NA Transfer Agencys relationshipled go-to-market strategy. The role will be a key driver in supporting our differentiated value proposition and elevating brand awareness/presence, and our position as an industry leader and subject matter expert, through highquality, impactful content. As a senior member of the marketing team, you will oversee the development and execution of a content and thought leadership vision, manage development and production timelines, and ensure our overall content strategy supports key business and marketing goals that demonstrate Computershares industry leadership and deep, specialized expertise. This position reports to our Vice President, NA Marketing. This role is hybrid with expectation to spend three days/week in a Computershare office. A role you will love Reporting to the Vice President, North America Marketing, the Director of Content Marketing will drive engagement, growth and retention, and elevate our industry presence, through development and execution of a comprehensive content and thought leadership strategy that is aligned with business objectives. This role holder will lead the creation and execution of diverse content and thought leadership across all relevant marketing and communications channels and formats, that supports revenue goals and enhances market position across the range of North American Issuer/Transfer Agency segments and solutions. They will spearhead a robust content program designed to drive engagement with content and thought leadership across various channels. Expertise in digital and crosschannel marketing and storytelling will be pivotal in producing impactful written, visual, and audio content. This role demands close collaboration with the entire Marketing team and business line leadership. The candidate thrives in a fastpaced, dynamic environment, possesses financial services subject matter expertise, and excels in delivering credible and compelling messaging. Some Of Your Key Responsibilities Will Include Create and drive a comprehensive, segmented, crosschannel content marketing strategy that aligns with business objectives and positions the brand as an industry leader with a differentiated value proposition. Align development of content, touch points, messaging, and thought leadership to value proposition, key differentiators and segment/solutions business objectives as part of a broader integrated marketing strategy/plan. Set content priorities in collaboration with marketing and business stakeholders and drive scalable, rapid development of content assets. Write and oversee the production of highquality content across formats, including articles, newsletters, blogs, whitepapers, eBooks, videos, case studies, webinars, email campaigns, PR/byline articles, social media, sales collateral, ABM assets, website, and more and should have strong SEO experience to maximize the effectiveness and engagement with website content. Provisions and manages the relationship with approved external agencies, and or contract writers, to deliver on the content plan, budget pending Develop and execute datadriven storytelling initiatives that showcase industry insights and trends across multiple channels, including paid and organic, aligned with prioritized integrated campaigns and segment/solutions marketing programs. Collaborate crossfunctionally with thought leaders and subject matter experts in marketing, business development, client and relationship teams, product, technology/operations, and other crossfunctional teams as appropriate. Build and maintain strong relationships with executives to develop compelling thought leadership content and themes. Manage and mentor a small team (copywriting, etc.) and manage across marketing centers of excellence (including creative); oversee agency relationships and external contributors. Create compelling storylines for external presentations, speaking engagements, media opportunities, and influencer or external industry partnerships. Define content marketing objectives, develop measurement plans, and actively monitor content performance across all channels Ability to communicate with and manage executive level stakeholders What will you bring to the role? Bachelors degree in related field required, and relevant certifications preferred. 7+ years of content marketing experience Relevant education in Marketing 5+ years of people management experience, with demonstrated success in leading and developing teams. Strong copywriting background with proven experience in analyzing data from surveys, benchmarks, studies, and other sources to develop themes, trends, and storylines for content marketing initiatives. Expert understanding of social media and crosschannel content strategy and thought leadership content development. The typical base pay range for this role is $120,000 - $135,000 CAD/yearly. This base pay range is specific to Toronto and may not be applicable to other locations.
