A career at TransLink and our family of companies means working with people with a wide range of skills and perspectives, all teaming up towards a common goal: preserving and enhancing the region''''s world-envied quality of life. Together, we connect the region and enhance its livability by providing a sustainable transit and transportation network, embraced by our communities and people. Are you a strategic security and emergency management leader who thrives in complex, multi-agency environments and is motivated by building the enterprise frameworks that protect people, assets, and public confidence? At TransLink, we connect Metro Vancouver through an integrated network of transit and transportation services that demonstrates the regions commitment to mobility, sustainability, and livability. As the Senior Manager, Enterprise Integrated Security, you will hold a pivotal enterprise role in strengthening how security, safety, and emergency management are aligned, governed, and continuously improved across TransLink and its operating companies. Responsibilities In this role, you will act as a key connector and strategist across the enterprise, working with operating companies, contracted service providers, and external partners to ensure a consistent, integrated, and future-ready approach to security. Key Accountabilities This role is anchored in enterprise leadership, developing integrated security strategies, plans, and governance, and working across operating companies to ensure coordinated, effective security and emergency preparedness. As a trusted senior partner to the Director, Safety, Environment and Emergency Management, you will deliver the following performance outcomes. Using your strong abilities in strategic leadership, facilitation, and relationship building, you will strengthen enterprise alignment through effective governance and collaboration forums, including supporting and facilitating integrated security committees and working groups that translate enterprise direction into coordinated action. You are a strong writer and program builder, and you will produce high-quality enterprise documentation that knits together operating company procedures into unified, practical frameworks that clarify roles, decision pathways, and coordination across multiple organizations. You bring proven experience designing and facilitating exercises, and you will strengthen enterprise readiness by coordinating training and exercise programs, and by ensuring post-incident and post-exercise learnings translate into prioritized corrective actions, accountable owners, and sustained improvements across policies, plans, and systems. You are confident working in complex, multi-stakeholder environments, and you will build influential relationships across operating companies, internal partners (including IT security where required), and external stakeholders such as law enforcement, regulators, and public safety partners. You will facilitate alignment, enable adoption of best practices, and remove barriers to implementation without duplicating or overriding operational responsibilities. You are analytical and risk-aware, and you will lead or support enterprise security assessments and threat, risk, and vulnerability work that informs enterprise priorities, governance decisions, and mitigation strategies. You will stay current on emerging risks and changing requirements and translate that into practical recommendations and enterprise-wide action planning. You are effective in front of senior audiences, and you will present clearly and credibly to leaders, committees, and partners, building alignment through structured thinking, strong recommendations, and well-organized communication. You will contribute leadership support during significant events and disruptions, including emergencies, disasters, cyber incidents, labour disruptions, and other threats. When required, you will support enterprise response and recovery activities outside normal working hours, bringing structure, coordination, and decision-quality information to the enterprise emergency management structure. What You Bring You bring a strong professional foundation through a degree in a security-related discipline and at least eight years of progressive experience in policing, industrial security, public safety, emergency management, or critical infrastructure security. You are known for producing clear, high-quality strategies, plans, and governance artifacts that enable coordinated action across complex organizations. You bring demonstrated strength in developing enterprise programs, policies, and standards especially where multiple organizations must align to a common approach. You are skilled at facilitating working groups, building consensus, and driving follow-through, and you can translate complex risk and operational realities into usable documentation and governance. You also bring strong communication and presentation skills, sound judgment, and the ability to operate with discretion, given the confidential nature of security work. If you are motivated by building integrated security programs, strengthening enterprise preparedness, and enabling coordinated outcomes across a complex public transportation system, we would welcome the opportunity to connect.
