Over decades, we have expanded our service offering to include economic studies, project management, detailed engineering, procurement, site management, commissioning, industrial programming, EPCM delivery, and mine closure planning. To support our continued growth, we are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Mechanical Team based in Terrace, British Columbia . In this role, you will contribute to both greenfield and brownfield projects across the industrial and mining sectors, applying mechanical and piping engineering expertise from conceptual design through to completion. Your Impact Design piping systems, mechanical equipment, and process components, including the selection of rotating and static equipment. Provide input into 2D and 3D general arrangement drawings and layout development. Perform engineering calculations and review/seal engineering documents. Prepare technical specifications, datasheets, requisitions, and support technical bid evaluations. Support field activities by attending client sites, conducting construction reviews, and participating in project meetings. Build and maintain strong client relationships by responding to project needs promptly and professionally. Follow and reinforce health and safety policies during all project phases. Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to ensure quality, costeffective, and timely project delivery. The Skills That Set You Apart 5+ years of experience as a Mechanical or Piping Engineer in industrial/mining design environments. Licensed P.Eng in British Columbia. Experience designing process piping systems and preparing equipment datasheets and specifications. Knowledge of ASME, API, MSS, ASTM, NFPA, and CSA standards. Experience with pipe stress analysis (e.g., CAESAR II) is an asset. Ability to work safely on industrial sites and comply with all sitespecific safety regulations. Strong written and verbal English communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Beneficial exposure to projects in power plants, mines, mills, industrial facilities, infrastructure, or pulp and paper. Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to project sites. Compensation AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $70,600 $97,200 MB & ON: $60,900 $83,800 NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $60,300 $80,000 Disclosure: The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
