Job Description The CISVA Superintendent''''s Office is seeking applicants for a position as an Educational Consultant commencing September 1, 2026. A CISVA Educational Consultant will be fully committed to the philosophy and mission of Catholic education in the province of British Columbia. The ideal candidate will have the following experience and attributes: Full BC COQ Certification and a minimum of five years successful teaching experience in the BC K to 12 sectors. Knowledge and evidence of implementation of best practice in current educational trends including literacy, curricular planning, instruction, assessment, and evaluation. Working knowledge of diagnostic, curriculum-based and norm-referenced assessment. The ability to lead curriculum design and implementation through a Catholic Worldview. Exceptional interpersonal skills. Experience in leading professional development workshops. Flexibility, initiative and attention to detail. Proven experience and expertise to work well as a member and/or leader of teams. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Applications, and other pertinent educational applications. A Masters Degree (completed or in progress). Suitable candidates will have the expertise to support CISVA schools in the areas of instructional programming and professional learning. This position requires the successful applicant to be responsive to a wide variety of school-based needs and to have a desire to serve Catholic education at a system level. This is a four-year term position which can be renewed or extended for further terms by mutual agreement.
