Overview Progesys is a recognized firm in project management and the transition of projects from construction to operation. The company is based in Laval (Canada) since 2002 and has offices in the United States, the Middle East, Asia and South America. Progesys is looking for a Directeur/Directrice Contrle de Projets to work on different projects. Responsibilities Elaborate and implement a project control plan as part of the project execution plan (PEP) Develop costs, schedules and baseline estimate Lead, coordinate, evaluate and support a team of project control specialists Analyze variances in costs and timelines against the plan and communicate reasons for variances and proposed mitigation plans to project management Supervise the definition and implementation of WBS Perform planning, cost control, progress measurement and collection of performance data such as installed quantities and progress measurement data Manage and track all changes and potential changes, ensuring that cost estimates and schedule changes are visible to the client and project management Analyze the risks of the project Contribute to team performance while combining technical skills, leadership, teamwork and people management skills Qualifications Bachelor of Engineering Minimum 7 years of experience as Project Control Manager Minimum 12-15 years of total experience Experience with large-scale projects and large project teams Bilingual: English and French (required for daily communication with stakeholders outside Quebec) Strong know-how in project control tools and work processes Experience in all phases of engineering, procurement and construction Knowledge of contracts and contract administration Experience managing small teams Proven ability to work with project teams to influence and achieve desired results Proficient in MS Office (spreadsheets, word processing, presentations, graphics) and the project Our Benefits Open and inclusive culture and work environment Competitive salary Health and dental benefits from day one Referral bonus Professional development opportunities International mobility Large-scale projects On-site gym (Laval office) Progesys is an equal opportunity employer and has an equal employment opportunity program for women, Indigenous peoples, visible minorities, ethnic minorities, and persons with disabilities.
