(CAN) Overnight Assistant Manager -FR Join the role at Walmart Canada. Location: 1535 Hwy 7A, Port Perry, ON L9L 1B5, Canada. Pay range: $56,100.00 - $66,642.50, determined based on relevant experience. Responsibilities As a member of the management team, generate profitable sales by meeting sales and profit targets, managing budgets, and forecasting sales. Proactively analyze sales and financial reports, economic trends, and community needs to identify and respond to market changes while reducing costs. Communicate associate sales results and guide their interpretation. Create operational plans, prioritize tasks, delegate, and provide clear directives to managers and associates. Maintain optimal store conditions by presenting merchandise effectively, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing, and setting store standards in accordance with company guidelines. Implement new programs, evaluate effectiveness, monitor inventory, identify stock flow issues, and take corrective action. The assistant manager receives broad crosstraining to work competently in all store departments as needed. Execute and monitor asset protection and security controls; maintain quality assurance standards; supervise security and operations reviews, ensuring compliance with Walmart policies and safety, sales, finance, and filing procedures. Proactively anticipate and respond to compliance issues, including loss control and general controls. Act as a store ambassador, welcoming customers, gathering feedback, addressing needs and complaints, and resolving issues to create a positive shopping experience. Provide training and guidance to associates on courteous and attentive customer service techniques. Support store initiatives that serve the community by participating in community events, developing relationships with key community groups, and engaging in sustainability programs commissioned by the company. Lead associates by conducting regular instore meetings and communicating operational directives centered on the OMNI program and overall store objectives. Drive engagement, recognize achievements, provide growth opportunities, and identify highpotential associates for development. Model company values by holding managers and associates accountable, providing honest, accurate, respectful feedback, and corrective action. Build relationships with store support staff and district teams. Comply with company guidelines when handling merchandise, including alcohol, firearms, narcotics, and highprice items. Ensure appropriate cash controls and daily cash handling up to $250,000. Minimum Qualifications Age 16 or older.
