DESIRED APPLICANT - QUALIFICATIONS An earned degree (minimum M.Sc. with Ph.D. preferred) in a major area of Physics, Astrophysics, or equivalent area(s). Experience in teaching and developing curriculum in introductory and general physics or astronomy courses at the postsecondary level. Experience that indicates a sensitivity to and an understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, and ethnic backgrounds of college students, including those with physical and learning disabilities. Knowledge of or experience in technology that is appropriate to the discipline and its instruction. Strong verbal and written English language skills.
