New Life Church is seeking a welcoming, organized, and adaptable Office Administrator to support the daily life of our church. This role plays a key behind-the-scenes part in helping our staff, volunteers, and congregation stay connected, informed, and supported. The Office Administrator serves as a central point of coordination for office operations, scheduling, ministry support and communication, helping ensure that ministry flows smoothly and people feel cared for. Key Responsibilities Office Management - Provide front office support, including responding to inquiries and welcoming visitors. - Maintain organized office systems, records, and supplies. - Support basic financial and administrative processes. - Handle confidential information with discretion and care. Administrative Support - Provide administrative support for staff meetings and internal coordination. - Assist with scheduling, appointments, and preparation for Sunday services. - Coordinate facility rentals and administer rental contracts. - Support newcomer processes and congregational integration. Communication Skills - Publish church communications across print and digital platforms (newsletter, social media). - Support staff and ministry teams with communication needs. - Help ensure information is clear, timely, and consistent across the church. Qualifications - Strong organizational and administrative skills. - Clear written and verbal communication. - Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail. - Comfortable using digital tools, calendars, and databases. - Discretion in handling confidential information. - Experience in a church or nonprofit setting is an asset. - Alignment with the mission and values of New Life Christian Reformed Church.
