Overview Unity Christian School, located in the picturesque city of Chilliwack, British Columbia, is seeking a dedicated and visionary Head of School to begin in the 2026/27 school year. This senior leadership role offers the opportunity to lead a thriving K12 Christian school community deeply committed to Christ-centred education, academic excellence, and the flourishing of every student. As the chief educational and administrative leader, the Head of School will work in close partnership with the Board, leadership team, staff, and families to cultivate a welcoming, faith-filled, and engaging learning environment. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership during a season of growth, including developing a new Strategic Plan in 2027 and guiding the school through a capital campaign and the construction of a new PreK5 campus. This position is well-suited to an experienced educational leader who is passionate about Christian education, values relational leadership, and is eager to guide a school community through growth with wisdom, clarity, and vision. Qualifications - Be a committed Christian who is able to provide spiritual leadership to staff and students. - Demonstrate strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build, lead, and support effective teams. - Hold a valid British Columbia teaching certificate (TRB Certificate of Qualification Professional). - Possess a Masters degree in Educational Leadership (or a related field). - Have a minimum of five years of experience serving as a Head of School or Lead Principal.
